Cookie Recipes?

So Christmas is coming soon, and I want to make cookies.

Know any good recipes?

Try to keep them simple (I’m no Emeril, lol).

Oh yeah, and other easy desserts are welcome too!

(btw, I love vanilla and chocolate! And all types of nuts are fine, no allergies here.)

Thanks!
Oh, and websites with good recipes are good too!

What are some good cookie recipes without chocolate or peanut butter?

I hate peanut butter and i have no chocolate or cocoa powder at my house-and i have to make cookies. Does anyone have any good tasting cookie recipes without peanut butter or chocolate?
-please only serious answers 🙂 *thanks people!*

What are some good ideas for holiday gift baskets?

I want to keep the cost minimal, since I am making around 8 of these for various people…

Ideas I already plan to include –
Homemade Apple Butter
Mugs w/ cocoa mix/tea/coffee (One of the local dollar stores had really cute mugs ^_^)
Chocolate-coated Coffee Spoons
Candy canes made to look like reindeer
Holiday Cookies/a loaf of a sweet bread such as pumpkin or banana

I am pretty handy in the kitchen, but not as gifted with sewing/knitting crafts. Any other ideas would be appreicated! Thanks!

What are some 15 month old friendly candies I can put in my sons Easter basket this year?

I don’t really don’t see anything to put in his basket. I was considering putting just his graduate fruit snacks and a bag or two of animals cookies (small ones). I was thinking about putting in some candy like Peeps or a big piece of chocolate that he can share with Mommy and Daddy, but I don’t know if its a good idea?

Any suggestions? What did you do for your kids first or second Easter (pending their age)

How do you store your Christmas cookies when you bake them from Thanksgiving till Christmas?

My Mother in law stores hers in tins but I don’t have enough tins to keep each type of cookie in a seperate one and I don’t want them all to start tasting alike. Will ziplock bags work? Will they still be crisp or would that soften them? I can’t rebake them to crisp them up because many are dipped after baking in chocolate and have sprinkles added. I want to bake two different types each weekend so we have a huge variety.
Thank you!
