LGBT: Fun Christmas questions.?

OK so I am stealing Saz-Stars idea here.

1. What type of tree topper do you have on your Christmas tree?

2. Do you still have any of your favorite Christmas ornaments from your childhood.

3. Do you have any heirloom Christmas ornaments that have been passed down in your family?

4. Real Christmas tree or artificial?

5. What color lights do you have on your tree? All white or multicolored?

6. Did you hang any lights or decorations outside this year?

7.Does your Christmas tree have a theme? or is it just random ornaments that you treasure?

8. Did anyone make popcorn garland for their tree this year?

9. Do you still put out cookies and milk for Santa?

10. If you don’t celebrate Christmas (because you are not Christian) can you tell me something about your religions traditions i.e. Hanukkah, Kwanzaa etc.?

Thanks for playing along!

Conservatives who support religion (specifically Christianity) in public schools, is this a fair compromise?

In my school district, which my niece is enrolled at, Elementary schools hold holiday/ winter parties where they make snow flakes, snow men, they can make stocking, play with a dreidel, learn about the different holidays of the season, there are Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and winter sugar cookies, they also have chip pretzels and other snacks. It recognizes all of the holidays of the season and the time of year but respects all students. So, what is the problem? Why does it matter if there is no organized Christian prayer, teaching or any other prayer for that matter? The schools still allow Christmas recognition.

Lousy Hanukkah Gifts

Hanukkah: literally “The Festival of Eight Sub Par Gifts” in English. It’s the thought that counts, right? Sure, why not? Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa and Happy Holidays from Better Than The Machine! Ho ho ho! Festively directed and edited by Ballard C. Do you celebrate Hanukkah?

Wrapping gifts and Christmas trees
December’s holiday spirit’s here.
Candy, cookies, a Christmas goose
And lot’s of Christmas cheer.

But others see a different scene
Of candles lit on differing days
A beautiful miracle described
Different celebration, different ways.

And others worship
With a prayer and fast.
As they remember
Sacrifices of the past.

Streams of green and red
Decorate the shopping mall.
But Christians and others know
God truly loves us all.

{Whatever you celebrate, and however you celebrate it–enjoy your holidays. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa or however you observe this winter holiday, have a good one and many more. Be safe, and encourage someone today.)
You are welcome to keep a copy of it. I wrote it as a gift to my friends, including the ones I have yet to meet.
