What are some good ideas for holiday gift baskets?

I want to keep the cost minimal, since I am making around 8 of these for various people…

Ideas I already plan to include –
Homemade Apple Butter
Mugs w/ cocoa mix/tea/coffee (One of the local dollar stores had really cute mugs ^_^)
Chocolate-coated Coffee Spoons
Candy canes made to look like reindeer
Holiday Cookies/a loaf of a sweet bread such as pumpkin or banana

I am pretty handy in the kitchen, but not as gifted with sewing/knitting crafts. Any other ideas would be appreicated! Thanks!

I’m looking for a recipe for something sweet for Easter?

I want to take something to my boyfriend’s family Easter dinner. They usually have a couple different pies, a cheesecake and an angel food cake. Can you suggest a good cookie or bar recipe, or maybe a candy covered apple slice recipe?

What’s your favorite holiday cookie?

I’m invited to a holiday cookie exchange party and I have to make 6 dozen cookies by tomorrow. I need some recipes. Do ya have any ideas of what i could make? Did you ever make them? any cooking tips for your recipes (I’m not the best cook)
Note: please no recipes with nuts some one at the party is allergic which really sucks cuz i found allot of good recipies but they have nuts in them =[

What are some cool twists on chocolate chip cookies?

I am making chocolate chip cookies tomorrow for Thanksgiving, what are some cool twists I can do, such as chocolate chip cookie s’mores?
Also any cool twist ideas for apple crumb pie?
I mean twist as in addition, like s’mores are adding marshmallow and chocolate coating to the cookies, not changing the cookies

ok ladies and gentleman, I am looking for an Italian cookie recipe.?

My girlfriends mom use to make these cookies. Have no clue what they are called. My girl friend says her mom would twist the cookie somehow and it would look like a doll and there is an egg in there. The doll is suppose to be holding the egg. This is an Easter cookie. Can any one help.
