Candy, cookies, a Christmas goose
And lot’s of Christmas cheer.
But others see a different scene
Of candles lit on differing days
A beautiful miracle described
Different celebration, different ways.
And others worship
With a prayer and fast.
As they remember
Sacrifices of the past.
Streams of green and red
Decorate the shopping mall.
But Christians and others know
God truly loves us all.
{Whatever you celebrate, and however you celebrate it–enjoy your holidays. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa or however you observe this winter holiday, have a good one and many more. Be safe, and encourage someone today.)
