What kinds of cookies are a must on a holiday cookie tray?

I’m trying to downsize my cookie tray duties this year. What kinds of cookies would you say have to be on a cookie tray? Which ones do you look for and maybe which ones could you skip? Just looking for some opinions. Thanks!
