I am going out of state for Christmas to see my in laws for the first time and I want to make some cookies. I love looking at a picture before I bake them so I know what they should look like. I usually dont think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving but I need to decide what cookies I want (variety). If there is a website that gives out recipes with a picture to it that would be great. Thank you.

What 2005 Nov or Dec magazine features either “Christmas” or “Holiday cookies”, with a mint green cover?
My wife cannot find the magazine that she bought all the ingredients for. Worse yet, the only thing that she can remember about it is that it has a mint green cover with a picture of a green-frosted Christmas tree. Any bakers out there seen this one?

What’s a good no-powdered sugar icing recipe to go on top of holiday sugar cookies?
In the middle of cooking sugar cookies, and realized I don’t have any powdered sugar to make my traditional icing. Any ideas for icing alternatives other than using sprinkles?
FYI, confectioner’s sugar IS powdered sugar….
Killer cookie recipes?
I lost my mom’s cookbook when I moved and can’t find those really awesome cookie recipes like she had. I’m looking for chewy peanut butter cookies, massive chewy chocolate chip cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies that were buttery, chewy and spread nicely.
I’ve tried recipes from all the standard sites so please don’t just cut and paste something you haven’t tried yourself. I’m really tired of cookies that don’t spread out and get all chewy and golden. If they stay in lumps, my hubby won’t eat them. Hoping someone will share their real favorites and not just cut and paste things they never tried for themselves.
